ABOUT PROJECT

As part of a sensitive renovation to this marvellous William Morris period property, we supplied and installed handcrafted bronze windows and doors.

We worked closely with Barr Build, a design-led construction company specialising in heritage restoration. We replaced the home’s outdated single-glazed steel windows with our high-performance Thermabronze system with a warm mid-bronze finish that complements the home’s beautiful period brickwork. Each window matches the original sightlines and proportions, ensuring visual continuity throughout the property.

This project involved a high level of technical detail, including the craft and installation of curved bowed windows. We are one of the very few companies that can manufacture bowed windows, ensuring each one has the perfect curve and fits seamlessly with the glazing.

To complete the design, Stamford handles were chosen for their elegance and their compatability with the overall aesthetic of the property. The result is an elegant blend of heritage and modern performance to enhance the home so it will continue to function beautifully for decades to come.

This project reflects our commitment to delivering thoughtful, long-lasting solutions for heritage buildings.
