As part of a large-scale renovation to this traditionally-styled home, our client was looking to expand their living space by extending into the garden and creating a sunroom.

As well as more opportunities for relaxation and dining, the owner also was aiming to link the indoors with the outdoors, to complement their newly landscaped garden and terrace area.

To create this vision, an elegant bronze fully-glazed extension was designed to lead off the kitchen area, using Thermabronze screens with horizontal transoms and contemporary beading.

Three outward opening doors with multipoint locks offer multiple access points to the patio area, with all doors and screens in a dark bronze finish to complete the modern aesthetic, with the bronze screen allowing an abundance of natural light to flow through the new space.

The elegant screen structure measures 8 metres in length and opens out into the wider patio area, transforming this previously empty space and offering the homeowners a world of new opportunities for entertaining in a thoroughly modern open plan setting.
