ABOUT PROJECT

This Grade II listed residence combines historic charm with modern living. Originally constructed in the 17th century, this home has been reimagined with a 20th-century extension - most recently enhanced by the addition of a light-filled garden room, offering a refined interpretation of contemporary design within a heritage setting.

To maximise natural light and create a harmonious connection between the interiors and the client’s garden, we incorporated three full height screens with slimline doors on each elevation of the garden room. These architectural elements open effortlessly onto the surrounding grounds.

Working in close collaboration with Kay Pilsbury Architects, our team approached every detail with care. The continuation of the bronze cladding around the structural steelwork ensured a coherent and visually balanced design, to create a timeless, understated finish that complements and elevates the existing fabric of the building. The result is a truly bespoke garden room.
