We have recently been putting our new architectural bronze thermally broken door system through Part Q testing, and it was very interesting to observe the lengths they go to and techniques used to break entry.
Our triple glazed thermally broken door system not only achieves 1.2W/m2K but now also confidently meets the stringent industry requirements for security in new builds.
Project Focus Stone new build in the cotswolds
Drawing inspiration from the original 17th century farmhouse on the site, this magnificent new build in the Cotswold Hills ANOB complements the historic character of its surroundings.
The project was led by the award-winning architectural practice Woldons, whose sensitive approach ensured the new addition sits comfortably within the landscape and reflects the heritage of the site.
The 6,000 sq ft residence incorporates around 100 bronze windows using the thermally broken Thermabronze system. Each are fitted with classic rectangular leaded glass and simple ironmongery. A striking oval window 1.2 mtrs in height features in the double height entrance hall.
