ABOUT PROJECT

Located in Leicestershire, this Grade II listed property has been extended with the addition of a garden room extension. The windows were old and worn, and the client’s vision was to enhance the property with refined, contemporary elements while respecting the historic character of the original building.

Working alongside the client, we delivered solid bronze doors, fanlights, and Thermabronze windows, tailored to meet both the conservation requirements and the standards of the client.

A key feature of the garden room is the crossed straps with a central boss, offering subtle detail and structural clarity within the glazing. The slimline profile and considered sightlines allow for a clean transition between interior and exterior spaces, supporting a seamless connection to the garden.

Our use of solid bronze throughout ensures longevity, precision, and a natural patina that will evolve with the property over time. The result is a restrained and elegant extension that sits comfortably within its historic context, while meeting the expectations of modern living and leaving behind a legacy for future generations.
